Soap Box Derby Super Kids...  Super Times!

The Super Kids event is a race for children with special needs that is now sanctioned by the All-American Soap Box Derby Organization. This is a special opportunity for children who would not otherwise be able to participate in the Soap Box Derby. They will race in specially built cars with experienced drivers with each child. They will know the thrill of racing down the hill!

Many children with special needs are not physically capable of participating in most sport activities. For this reason, our local organization is pleased to bring back this event for these very special children. The winner of the event in Columbia will receive a trip to Akron, Ohio, this summer to compete in the
National All-American Super Kids Race.

We would like to send a very special thank you to Ridge View High School Shop class for building our brand new race cars. We are forever grateful for the time and hard work of these talented students.
